financial aid at bli

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Jesus Christ.  Philippians 4:19

At BLI, we are serious about trying to help students graduate with little or no debt so that they can more freely devote themselves to their calling. At the same time, there are significant and legitimate costs to providing higher education.

Life of Calling
quote back

The cost and value of higher education in general has been a topic of great concern over the last several years in America. The concerns are even more poignant for those going into full-time ministry. Most people in ministry (pastors, missionaries, youth workers, para-church workers, etc.) are there because of a call to serve, not for money. As a result, most ministers are underpaid and struggle financially. The ministry and families suffer because of the financial stress. The situation is further complicated by educational debt that is often necessary in order to be properly trained for ministry.

What are we doing about this?

First, we keep our tuition rates low while still striving for academic quality. In effect, you will receive an automatic financial benefit thousands of dollars just by choosing Biblical Life Institute.

Second, we offer institutional financial aid, awarded annually, based on financial need, academic achievement and available funds.

Third, we provide information on outside sources that are willing to assist students and parents with regard to financing their education.

Tuition and Fees

Biblical Life Institute provides training for each student at considerably less than cost. This is possible because of the generosity of many Christian friends whose sacrificial gifts supplement the income received from student fees and tuition. LEARN MORE

President's Scholarship

The President’s Scholarship is a one-semester, full-tuition, merit-based scholarship given to a first-year, residential student. The scholarship may be renewed for a second semester. LEARN MORE

Institutional Aid

To be considered for institutional aid, students must fill out a financial aid request. Because institutional aid is limited, students are encouraged to apply early. LEARN MORE

Semester Payment Plan

Students may elect to set up a payment plan with the business office in order to spread out payments over the course of the semester. Plans may be arranged by contacting the business office before classes begin. There is a $25 set up fee.

Extended Payment Plan

For the 2017-18 academic year, BLI is offering an extended payment plan for up to $4,500 per semester. Payment of $100 per semester is due monthly while in school. After graduation or leaving school, the monthly payment amount is adjusted to allow for up to 10 years repayment. A finance fee of 4% of the remaining balance is added annually.
